We all know the pictures of climate change: Glacier melting, visible to the naked eye, or freak weather in Austria with snowless winters, cool summers and now even orcans! It is evident: We all have to reconsider our way of using energy! Energy is precious.
The reduction of energy consumption and the efficient use of electricity and the use of renewable energy sources is greater demand than ever.Energy as a topic of agriculture
With our emphasis this year we want to share the use of renewable energy sources discussed. How we use in Austria, sun, water, wind and wood and where there are potentials? The energy issue is also a topic of agriculture and for many members of our future. The use of renewable energy promotes not only the agriculture, it also makes us independent of oil and gas imports and we can make a significant contribution to lower CO2 emissions afford.
Save Energy: What can I do?
With the theme, we want you fair Energy but also attentive to the fact that Austria always requires more energy. The main causes are in the sectors of mobility, households and industry to find the approximately 86% of total energy use in Austria "consume". Each of us may be offset by reducing energy consumption and the efficient use of electricity and other energy sources play an active contribution to a careful handling of energy and waste less energy to make.
