    Animal welfare in third countries

    Report of the European Commission and Conclusions of the Council Agriculture: In November 2002 the Commission submitted a communication to the Council and the European Parliament on the provisions on animal welfare for farmed animals in third countries and their impacts for the European Union.  According to the report most countries do not have similarly detailed special provisions for the protection of productive livestock. > more + downloads about: Animal welfare in third countries
